Courtyard meeting: At the courtyard meeting held on the date 27.10.2022. 1 no ward, Taranagar union under Keraniganj Upazila, Ms. Nasima (House wife) said that Today I feel very good coming to this meeting. My daughter got married in Munsiganj. Son lives abroad but my daughter is married to that son through a mobile phone. Now the son's side especially the son's parents do not want to take the daughter to the son's house. Even if we do social justice, this issue cannot be resolved in any way. We seek legal assistance through the Legal Aid office.
UPLAC Bi-monthly meeting: The UPLAC bi-monthly meeting at held on the date 26.10.2022 Mr. Md. Mukter Hosain member of Subadha union under Keraniganj Upazila and member of Union Parishad Legal Aid Committee said that family problems in various wards of our Union Parishad come up more, especially animosity between husband and wife, dvorce, husband left his wife's and child and got married in another place, such problems are most common in our union wards. If we have such a case, we send it to the District Legal Aid Office if we cannot settle the case through the Union Parishad. We have decided through the Union Chairman of the Subadha Union Parishad that we will set up a Legal aid desk or corner in this union so that the people of the village can get the services quickly.
UZLAC Bi-monthly meeting: The UZLAC bi-monthly meeting at held on the date 23.10.2022 Mr. Nasiruddin Ahmed Jhunu Chairmen Nawabganj Upazila and president Upazila Legal Aid Committee said that each of our monthly meetings Upazila parished, I have suggested to the union council chairmen send poor and helpless people who need legal help, If you can settle the arbitration in your Union Parishad, if not, send it to the District Legal Aid Office. In that case, the Upazila Parishad information officer can take help, she will look into this matter and inform us about the matter for all the clients who come.
